Parents or legal guardians who believe that a minor has created an account or accessed services may contact Mega Hosting Deals so that the account can be investigated and, where appropriate, closed.
Age Restriction Justification
The age restriction exists to ensure contractual capacity and to reduce fraud risk. It is not based on any protected characteristic and does not constitute unlawful discrimination.
4. Scope of services
Mega Hosting Deals provides UK based web hosting, fully managed website plans, website maintenance & Updates (Pay-As-You-Go), and related digital services.
Web hosting services
Web hosting services are provided on a prepaid basis and are billed on the billing cycle selected at the time of order. Hosting services include access to server resources, control panel access, and related hosting features as described on the website.
Hosting services are provided in a shared hosting environment unless explicitly stated otherwise. Reasonable resource limits apply, including CPU usage, memory, disk space, inodes, bandwidth, and concurrent processes, where necessary to protect stability, security, and fair use across the platform.
Customers must not use hosting services for excessive resource consumption, storage-only use, backup-only storage, cryptocurrency mining, or activity that materially and adversely affects server performance, security, or other customers.
Fully Managed Website Plans
Fully Managed Website plans are provided as an ongoing managed service and may include website hosting, security, updates, maintenance, backups, and support as described for the selected plan.
Each plan includes the features described on the website, including page allowances, hosting, SSL, maintenance, and capped update time where stated. Unused update time does not roll over unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Website Maintenance & Updates (Pay-As-You-Go)
Website Maintenance & Updates (Pay-As-You-Go) are billed at £35.90 per hour, with a minimum charge of one hour per request.
This service is not a managed plan and does not include hosting unless expressly stated. Pay-As-You-Go work must be paid in advance before work begins.
All hosting services are provided within shared or multi-tenant environments. Mega Hosting Deals does not provide (), , or standalone infrastructure services.
5. Agreement formation, manual provisioning and activation
An Agreement between Mega Hosting Deals and you, the client, is formed only when an order is placed, payment is successfully received, any required identity verification checks are successfully completed where requested, and the service is manually provisioned by Mega Hosting Deals.
By placing an order and completing payment, the customer expressly requests that the ordered services be activated or commenced as soon as payment verification and any required compliance checks have been completed.
Services are not activated automatically. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or delay activation pending verification or compliance checks, including where information provided appears incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or inconsistent.
When a service is considered activated or commenced
A service is treated as activated or commenced once it has been provisioned and made available for use, or once work has begun. This includes, but is not limited to, the following events:
- web hosting services: when the hosting account is created on the server and access credentials, control panel details, or related service details are issued
- Fully Managed Website services: when onboarding, setup, development, maintenance, updates, hosting configuration, or related managed work begins
- Website Maintenance & Updates (Pay-As-You-Go): when work, investigation, updates, or technical changes begin
Activation or commencement occurs when the service becomes available for use or work starts. It is not necessary for the customer to log in, upload files, or make active use of the service before the service is treated as having begun.
Access to services may be provided by credentials, control panel access, or other means. You are responsible for ensuring that any authorised users comply with this document.
Evidence of Service Delivery
Mega Hosting Deals maintains system records including account creation logs, IP logs, provisioning timestamps, and access records. These may be used in disputes.
Non-Use of Service
Failure to log in or use a service does not affect the fact that it has been provisioned.
6. Customer accounts
When you place an order, a customer account is created. This account serves as the central record of all data relating to your relationship with Mega Hosting Deals, including services ordered, billing history, support communications, and account activity.
Information held within the customer account may include personal and contact details, billing and transaction history, active and historical services, domain registration details, support communications, and security or access logs.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity carried out under your account, except to the extent caused by our own fault. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or a security incident.
You must keep your account information accurate and up to date. If we reasonably believe the information is inaccurate or incomplete, we may request clarification and may restrict services until the issue is resolved.
7. Account ownership and transfers
The individual or organisation listed as the account holder within the customer account is treated as the authorised owner of the account and the authorised contact for instructions relating to that account.
Requests to transfer ownership, service control, access credentials, or account authority may require identity verification or supporting documentation to protect account security.
Mega Hosting Deals may refuse an ownership transfer request where ownership cannot be reasonably verified, where the request appears fraudulent, or where there is an unresolved dispute about account control.
8. Data protection, privacy and retention
This Privacy Policy applies to the use of the megahostingdeals.net website and any services provided through it.
Personal data is processed in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Data is processed only where necessary to provide services, process payments, comply with legal obligations, maintain security, prevent fraud, and manage disputes. Customer data is not sold, rented, or traded.

Data Retention and Legal Basis
Data retention periods are based on legal obligations (including tax and accounting requirements) and on what is reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution.
Once retention periods expire, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised, unless further retention is required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

10. Payments, billing and fees
Payments are accepted by debit or credit card and are processed securely via Stripe. Mega Hosting Deals does not store or have access to full card details.
By submitting payment for any order, the customer confirms that they are authorised to use the payment method used for the transaction and authorise Mega Hosting Deals to collect payment for the ordered services.
Services are billed in advance. Renewal dates and amounts are displayed within your customer account. It is your responsibility to ensure payment methods remain valid and that your contact details are current.
Failed, reversed, or disputed payments may result in non-activation, suspension, or termination of services where appropriate. Where services are suspended due to non-payment, restoration may be subject to successful payment and any reasonable administrative steps needed to reactivate the service.
Payment disputes and evidence of service delivery
Where a payment dispute, chargeback, or reversal is raised, Mega Hosting Deals may rely on its internal records and service logs to demonstrate that the customer agreed to these Terms, requested immediate service commencement through the order process, and that the relevant service was provisioned or work began.
Relevant records may include account creation logs, invoice and payment records, provisioning timestamps, issued login credentials, support communications, configuration notes, project records, or other system logs reasonably connected with the order.
Pay-As-You-Go billing
Website Maintenance & Updates (Pay-As-You-Go) services must be paid in full before any work begins. No work will be carried out on credit.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Customers agree to contact Mega Hosting Deals before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute.
Where a chargeback is initiated after provisioning:
- services may be suspended
- accounts may be restricted
We may recover reasonable costs where permitted by law.
Pricing Flexibility
We always aim to keep our services affordable and fair.
If your circumstances change or you feel your plan is no longer suitable, just reach out — we’re happy to review your options and find a solution that works for you.
We believe in working with our customers — not against them.
11. Identity verification and Know Your Customer checks
To prevent fraud, chargebacks, payment abuse, and misuse of services, identity verification checks may be required in some cases. Verification may be carried out through Stripe or another approved provider.
You may be required to provide identification or supporting information. Mega Hosting Deals does not intentionally collect or store identity documents where verification is handled by Stripe or another third-party provider.
Accounts are manually set up after successful completion of identity verification where required.
If you update key account information, including your name, address, billing details, or ownership details, additional verification may be required.
If identity verification cannot reasonably be completed, services may be refused, delayed, or cancelled. Where this happens before activation and no breach of these terms has otherwise occurred, a refund will normally be issued, less any non-recoverable third-party costs if applicable and lawful.
These checks are used to reduce fraud and payment risk and to protect Mega Hosting Deals, its suppliers, and its customers.
12. Infrastructure and service levels
Mega Hosting Deals operates services using third-party data centre providers, network suppliers, software platforms, and infrastructure partners where appropriate.
While we aim to maintain reliable and stable services, uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
Mega Hosting Deals will use reasonable efforts to maintain service availability and respond to operational incidents where they occur.
No formal service level agreement applies unless explicitly agreed in writing.
13. Availability, maintenance and downtime
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
Downtime may occur due to maintenance, network or hardware failure, third-party providers, software issues, security incidents, emergency updates, capacity management, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Planned maintenance may occur to apply security updates, upgrade systems, or improve performance. Where practical, we may provide notice via the website, customer account, or email, but emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice.
Nothing in this section affects any rights a consumer may have where services are not provided with reasonable care and skill or do not match what was agreed.
14. Service Level Agreement (SLA)
Mega Hosting Deals aims to provide reliable and stable hosting infrastructure. While uninterrupted service cannot be guaranteed, reasonable efforts are made to maintain high levels of service availability.
Infrastructure availability target
Mega Hosting Deals targets infrastructure availability of 99.9 percent for network connectivity and core hosting infrastructure over a monthly period, excluding scheduled maintenance, emergency maintenance, and events outside our reasonable control.
Maintenance
Planned maintenance may be carried out from time to time in order to apply security updates, upgrade systems, or improve performance. Where reasonably practical, advance notice may be provided. Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice if required to protect security or infrastructure stability.
Service interruptions
Service interruptions may occur due to hardware failure, software faults, security incidents, network issues, or third-party infrastructure providers. Mega Hosting Deals will take reasonable steps to restore affected services as soon as reasonably possible.
Service credits
Where a verified infrastructure failure within Mega Hosting Deals control results in significant downtime, customers may request a service credit. Service credits are limited to hosting account credit and will not exceed the equivalent value of one month of the affected service.
Statutory Rights
Service credits are provided as a contractual goodwill remedy and do not affect your statutory rights, including your right to services performed with reasonable care and skill under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
SLA exclusions
This Service Level Agreement does not apply to issues caused by customer configuration, software installed by the customer, security breaches within customer applications, misuse of services, or circumstances outside the reasonable control of Mega Hosting Deals.
15. Hosting environment and technical limits
Hosting services are provided in a shared hosting environment and are subject to resource limits. Limits may include CPU usage, memory usage, concurrent processes, disk usage, inodes, bandwidth, and other constraints necessary to protect service stability and fair usage.
You must not exceed allocated resources, run background daemons or server-level processes, or use hosting primarily for file storage or backups. You must not attempt to bypass limitations or interfere with other customers, the host server, or network services.
Storage-only use is not permitted on any Mega Hosting Deals service. Our services must not be used primarily as online storage, backup repositories, public file-sharing platforms, personal cloud storage, or off-site backup locations for unrelated systems.
Reasonable file storage that forms part of a functioning website, application, or legitimate hosting activity is permitted. Where an account is primarily used for storage rather than hosting, Mega Hosting Deals may require the customer to reduce stored data, move to a more appropriate solution, or suspend the service where necessary to protect platform stability.
We may impose restrictions, limit performance, suspend, or terminate services where reasonably necessary to protect system stability, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or prevent abuse.
16. Security responsibilities
Customers are responsible for maintaining the security of their websites, applications, accounts, and any self-managed server environments.
This includes maintaining secure passwords, updating software, protecting access credentials, removing unused accounts, and monitoring for unauthorised activity.
Mega Hosting Deals is responsible only for the security of the underlying hosting infrastructure under our direct control.
If a service becomes compromised or is used for malicious purposes, Mega Hosting Deals may temporarily suspend or isolate the affected service until the issue is resolved.
17. Backups and data responsibility
Backups form part of the paid service for Fully Managed Website plans. As part of the management fee, Mega Hosting Deals performs routine backups of Fully Managed Websites for disaster recovery purposes.
Backup frequency and retention periods are determined by Mega Hosting Deals and may change over time. Backups are provided as a safety measure but are not guaranteed to be complete or restorable in every circumstance.
For standard web hosting services and self-managed , all data backups are the responsibility of the customer. While backup tools or automated backups may be made available as a courtesy, they are not guaranteed and must not be relied upon as the sole method of data protection.
Mega Hosting Deals does not accept liability for data loss, corruption, or restoration failure in relation to standard hosting services beyond what cannot lawfully be excluded. Customers are responsible for maintaining independent backups of all files, databases, emails, and content hosted on their account.
18. Website migration and transfers
Where Mega Hosting Deals assists with the migration of websites, email accounts, or other services from another provider, reasonable efforts will be made to complete the migration successfully.
However, customers remain responsible for ensuring that complete backups exist before any migration takes place.
Mega Hosting Deals cannot guarantee compatibility with third-party hosting environments, software, control panels, email systems, or server configurations.
Migration assistance may be limited by access availability, software differences, unsupported systems, or technical restrictions imposed by third-party providers.
19. Domain names (reseller relationship – eNom)
Mega Hosting Deals acts as a reseller of eNom, Inc. and is not the registrar.
Domain services are subject to eNom’s registration agreement, applicable registry rules, and ICANN policies. You agree to comply with all registrar, registry, and ICANN requirements applicable to your domain name(s), including verification requests, accuracy requirements, transfer rules, and dispute policies.
Domain registrations, renewals, and transfers are generally non-refundable once submitted to the registrar. Registrar or registry actions, including suspension, transfer, lock, or cancellation, do not by themselves entitle you to a refund.
20. Email services and anti-spam policy
Email services provided through Mega Hosting Deals must not be used for spam, unsolicited bulk email, or unlawful marketing activities.
The following activities are prohibited:
- Sending unsolicited commercial email
- Using purchased or harvested email lists

Customers are responsible for ensuring that any software installed, uploaded, or used through Mega Hosting Deals services is properly licensed and lawfully obtained.
Use of pirated software, nulled applications, software that bypasses licensing controls, or unlawfully copied content is not permitted.
Mega Hosting Deals may remove, disable, or suspend services that are found to be distributing or operating unlicensed or unlawful software.

- activities that interfere with, disrupt, or degrade systems or other customers, including excessive resource usage, abusive automation, or vulnerability scanning without permission
- use of any Mega Hosting Deals service primarily for file storage, backup repositories, personal cloud storage, or file-sharing services unrelated to an active website or application
Storage-only use of services
Mega Hosting Deals services are designed for hosting websites and related applications. Services must not be used primarily as online storage, backup repositories, or file distribution platforms.
Server abuse and immediate suspension
Mega Hosting Deals reserves the right to immediately suspend, isolate, or restrict any service where it reasonably believes that the service is being used in a manner that threatens the security, stability, or integrity of its infrastructure, network, or other customers.
This may include spam activity, malware distribution, denial-of-service activity, network scanning, phishing, fraud, deceptive services, or disruptive resource usage.
IP reputation and spam protection
Mega Hosting Deals actively protects the reputation of its network and IP address ranges. Customers must ensure that their services do not cause IP addresses to become listed on spam, malware, or abuse blocklists.
If an IP address associated with a customer service becomes listed due to the customer’s actions or configuration, Mega Hosting Deals may suspend the service until the issue has been resolved.
Right to remove unlawful or harmful content
Mega Hosting Deals reserves the right to remove, disable access to, or suspend any content, service, or account where it reasonably believes that the content may be unlawful, harmful, or in breach of these Terms, this policy, or applicable law.
Child Safety and Illegal Content
Services must not be used to store, transmit, distribute, publish, access, promote, or make available any content that exploits, harms, abuses, or depicts the abuse or sexual exploitation of children.
This prohibition includes, without limitation, child sexual abuse material, grooming-related content, exploitative imagery, or any other material or activity prohibited under applicable child protection, safeguarding, criminal, or online safety laws and regulations.
Any account, service, website, data, or activity suspected of involving child exploitation, child sexual abuse material, or other serious child safety risks may be suspended immediately without notice, investigated, removed, reported to the appropriate authorities, or permanently terminated.
Where required by law or where Mega Hosting Deals reasonably considers it necessary to protect children, the Company may preserve, disclose, or provide relevant account information, access logs, hosted data, and other records to law enforcement agencies, regulators, hotlines, or other competent authorities.
Mega Hosting Deals reserves the right to refuse service, remove content, disable access, or take any other action reasonably necessary to comply with applicable child protection and online safety obligations.
Customers remain solely responsible for all content, data, communications, and activity conducted through their services, including any activity by third parties, clients, employees, contractors, or end users using the account.
Law enforcement and emergency measures
Mega Hosting Deals may take emergency technical measures, including traffic filtering, blocking malicious sources, isolating compromised servers, or restricting access to affected systems where immediate intervention is required to protect network security, prevent service disruption, or mitigate an active threat.
23. Abuse reports
Mega Hosting Deals may receive abuse reports from third parties relating to websites, email services, or other services hosted on our infrastructure.
Where such reports are received, we may contact the customer to request clarification or corrective action.
Customers must cooperate with reasonable requests made to investigate abuse, security issues, or legal complaints.
Failure to respond to abuse reports within a reasonable time may result in suspension, restriction, or termination of services.
24. Suspension, termination and refusal of service
Mega Hosting Deals may suspend, restrict, or terminate services where reasonably necessary if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, fail to make payment, engage in unlawful activity, fail identity verification where required, provide materially inaccurate account information, or create a material risk to staff, infrastructure, other customers, or third parties.
Suspension may be immediate where necessary to protect security, prevent harm, comply with law, or respond to abuse. Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may instead request corrective action or supporting information before taking further action.
Mega Hosting Deals reserves the right to refuse service where there is a legitimate business, legal, compliance, fraud, or safety reason to do so. Nothing in this section allows unlawful discrimination.
Where a service is suspended or terminated because of breach of these Terms, breach of the Acceptable Use Policy, unlawful activity, spam, phishing, malware distribution, copyright infringement, cryptocurrency mining on prohibited infrastructure, resource abuse, or other misuse of the services, no refund will normally be due for the unused part of the current billing period unless applicable law requires otherwise.
25. Support policy

Support for self-managed does not include server administration, operating system support, software installation, security hardening, or debugging customer applications.
Response times
Support requests are handled in the order received and prioritised based on urgency, service impact, and operational considerations. While Mega Hosting Deals aims to respond as promptly as possible, response times are not guaranteed unless a separate service level agreement has been agreed in writing.

26. Customer feedback policy
Mega Hosting Deals welcomes honest feedback from customers about the services provided. Feedback may be given directly to us or through public review platforms, provided that it is lawful, genuine, and not misleading.
Direct feedback and opportunity to resolve issues
Customers are encouraged to contact Mega Hosting Deals directly before publishing negative feedback, where reasonably possible, so that we have a fair opportunity to investigate the issue and, where appropriate, put matters right.
This does not prevent any customer from leaving honest feedback or exercising any legal right. However, where a problem relates to billing, support, technical performance, service quality, or misunderstanding of what was ordered, customers should first allow Mega Hosting Deals a reasonable opportunity to review the matter and attempt a remedy.
Public reviews
Customers may leave reviews on third-party platforms such as Google Reviews or Trustpilot. Reviews should be based on genuine experience and must not contain false statements, unlawful content, threats, harassment, confidential information, or material copied from another source without permission.
Our responses to reviews
Mega Hosting Deals may reply to feedback or reviews where reasonably necessary to clarify facts, respond to allegations, explain the status of a complaint, or protect legitimate business interests. We will aim to do so in a professional and proportionate manner.
Review manipulation
Customers and third parties must not attempt to manipulate reviews relating to Mega Hosting Deals. This includes fake reviews, incentivised reviews that are not properly disclosed, coordinated review attacks, threats used to obtain refunds or free services, or requests that others post misleading feedback on a customer’s behalf.
Complaints about reviews
If a customer believes that a public response from Mega Hosting Deals is inaccurate, or that a review concerning Mega Hosting Deals has been posted in error, they may contact us with supporting information so the matter can be reviewed.
Suggestions and service improvements
Where customers provide suggestions, ideas, or general feedback about improving our services, Mega Hosting Deals may consider and use that feedback without obligation, provided no confidential or proprietary rights are infringed.

Prohibited copyright infringement
You must not use the services to host or distribute pirated software, cracked applications, nulled themes or plugins, unlicensed media, copied website content, unauthorised streaming content, or any other material that infringes copyright or related rights.
Complaints and takedown requests
If Mega Hosting Deals receives a copyright complaint, infringement notice, or other credible report alleging unlawful use of protected content, we may investigate the matter and may remove, disable access to, suspend, or restrict the affected content or service where reasonably necessary.
We may request information from the customer to assess the complaint, including proof of ownership, licence, permission, or other lawful authority to use the material. Customers must cooperate with reasonable requests made for this purpose.
Repeat infringement
Repeated copyright complaints, clear evidence of infringement, or failure to respond to a reasonable copyright enquiry may result in suspension or termination of services.
Ownership of customer content
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, customers retain ownership of their own original content. Mega Hosting Deals does not claim ownership of customer materials solely because they are hosted or processed through the services. However, the customer confirms that they have the rights necessary to use, host, store, and publish that content.
